After I was finally able to get mDNS working properly on my UDM Pro, I am able to control all the clients on my IoT VLAN through my Home VLAN. However, now I am dealing with a separate issue specific to my HomePods. I added a few Apple TVs and a few HomePods to my IoT VLAN. But it doesn't matter if i create the VLAN over unifi by hand or i'm using AVM's products to built up a "hidden" VLAN. I'm sure, other products which could be configured as two networks, one for private usage and one for guests / IoT, will also use (more or less hidden) VLAN.
